How We Measure Whether an AI Project Paid Off

A good demo is not a result. We tie every project to time saved, cost, or revenue before we scale it up.

It is easy to build something that looks impressive and changes nothing. So before we scale a project, we agree on the number it is supposed to move.

Pick the number first

Every project gets tied to one of three things: time saved, cost cut, or revenue gained. We write down the baseline before we start, so there is something honest to compare against later.

What we track

  • Cycle time on the task before and after.
  • Cost per unit of work, including the model bill.
  • Whether people actually keep using it after the novelty wears off.

Kill the ones that do not work

Not every project pays off, and that is fine. The discipline is spotting it early. If the number has not moved after a fair trial, we stop and put the effort somewhere it will. That is how the ones that do work get the room to scale.
